The ZU19EG platform leverages all the features of the Zynq UltraScale+ ZU19EG‑FFVB1517MPSoC chip, ensuring flexible peripheral selection. This prototype development board includes 8 GB of DDR4 memory for the programmable logic (PL) and another 8 GB of DDR4 memory for the processing system (PS). It also incorporates 2 Gb of NAND flash memory and supports SSD storage of up to 32 GB on a Micro‑SD card. Additionally, it features 2 Gb of QSPI flash. Communication and networking are enabled via Gigabit Ethernet, CAN, Pmod, USB 3.0, JTAG‑USB, SATA, QSFP+, and PCI‑e x1 Gen3 connectors, while DisplayPort provides a multimedia interface. For expanded I/O capabilities, the board offers two FMC VITA 57.1‑2010‑compliant FMC slots, allowing connection of additional FMC daughter cards from third‑party vendors.

It is designed for SoC prototyping, IP verification, graphics, video, packet processing, and early-stage software development. Compared to other Zynq MPSoC devices, the Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ ZU19EG‑FFVB1517 MPSoC stands out by featuring the largest FPGA in the Zynq® UltraScale+™ MPSoC family, with over one million logic cells. It incorporates a quad‑core ARM® Cortex‑A53 processor running at up to 1.5 GHz, complemented by a dual‑core Cortex‑R5 real‑time processor, a Mali‑400 MP2 graphics processing unit, and 16‑nm FinFET+ programmable logic. These capabilities enable the ZU19EG to deliver the specialized processing resources required for next‑generation wired and 5G wireless infrastructure, cloud computing, as well as aerospace and defense applications.
