The system models the propagation environment of wireless channels and implements the model on a high-speed, parallel FPGA platform.
A multi-channel, high‑bandwidth wireless channel emulator can be used for wireless system simulation and testing. This system models the propagation environment of wireless channels and implements the model on a high‑speed, parallel FPGA platform.
Each channel of the multi‑channel, high‑bandwidth wireless channel emulator can independently simulate a wide range of physical channel characteristics, including Doppler shift, multipath propagation, fading, dynamic delay, attenuation, noise, interference, and shadowing. By leveraging controllable inter‑channel delay and fading properties, it enables accurate, rapid, and repeatable testing of multi‑channel applications.
